Allison recently began attending a ballet, tap & gymnastics (all in one) class at The Little Gym. Allison's friend, Kaitlyn, from Sugar N Spice has been going to TLG for awhile now and her Mom, Jamie, told us we should try it out! On Alli's 1st trial day at TLG, I wasn't sure what she would think or if she would even go into the dance room! At first it didn't seem like she would even try, but after I walked away for a few minutes, while the teacher talked to her a bit, she went right it. She spent the entire class just sitting amongst all the other little girls, quietly watching. She participated a teeeeny bit when it came to the gymnastics portion. As soon as the class was over, and I mean as soon as she came out to see me, she must have told me a million times that she wanted her own ballet and tap shoes just like Kaitlyn!!!
After a week goes by, Alli seems excited about ballet class, but I have no idea how she will react once we get there. To my HUGE surprise as the teacher comes and calls all "Jazzy Bugs" to class, she is the first one to run in and is ready to go. I didn't want her to see me watching her so I watched her on the tv in the seating area. Jamie and I could not believe her! She was dancing right along with all the other kids as if she had been doing this for ever. The class was practicing for an upcoming recital and Alli was doing the whole show already! She was laughing and having so much fun. We couldn't get over the fact that she was actually participating, let alone how well she was doing. Miss Tina and Miss Kim were so wonderful with the class and Alli loves them. I made sure to take lots of pictures and videos for Daddy to see at home. I was so proud!
